Africa-Europe Bridge
General concept
Some ideas for a suspension bridge that would connect Africa with Europe across the Strait of Gibraltar. The towers at both ends would be 3 km high pyramids. The bridge would hang from a main cable with tree-branched suspenders. Also laterally stiffened with cables. The deck section would be covered to create a low aerodynamic drag profile.
